This afternoon the Pre-Prep and its Enchanted Garden were filled with smiling faces, as pupils from Reception and their parents visited a Winter Wonderland.
The children lost themselves in Christmas stories and games, made wishes under the Wishing Tree, bounced on the Bouncing Branch, collected pine cones and made some Magic Fairy Pots.
Mrs Hudson said: “This is a wonderful way to bring the home environment to school – for parents and children to explore the garden, learn about the outdoors and get into the spirit of Christmas together.”
They were also treated to story time with Mrs Sanders, who told of what happened on the first Christmas Day ever.
Mrs Jobling, a Reception Parent, said: “We hear so much about what goes on at the Pre-Prep so it’s lovely to see it in action. It’s such a great experience for the children.”
