We are proud to work closely with Chartered Physiotherapist and Former Pupil Becky Davison, who runs a clinic at the school offering physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions to our pupils.
On leaving Truro School, Becky graduated with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree from the University of the West of England in 2003 and achieved her MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath in 2013.
She completed her junior and senior rotations at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, working in a variety of areas such as outpatients, orthopaedics, rheumatology, hydrotherapy, respiratory, stroke and amputee rehabilitation.
Becky has worked with the Cornish Pirates RFC and has experience of treating and rehabilitating a wide range of sports injuries including netball, swimming, fencing, athletics, rowing and sailing. She was also a Games Maker volunteer Physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympics, working in Weymouth with the Sailors and windsurfers.
Alongside Truro School, Becky now works in Truro Health Park, where she manages the Physiotherapy department in a busy GP Practice and sees a variety of conditions and people of all ages. Becky will also be offering athlete screening sessions to sports scholars as part of an injury prevention programme.
