We are proud to work closely with Chartered Physiotherapist and Former Pupil Becky Davison, who runs a clinic at the school offering physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions to our pupils.
On leaving Truro School, Becky graduated with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree in 2003 and achieved her MSc in Sports Physiotherapy in 2013.
Alongside working at Truro School, Becky has a varied client base. Her main sporting interests lie at Exeter University, working for Ocean Physio & Rehab with the university’s High Performance students across a variety of sports. This involves working closely with a support team of coaches, Strength & Conditioning coaches and medical Consultant. Part of this role involves being responsible for the 1st XV Rugby team who are closely linked with Exeter Chiefs and who are one of the countries top University rugby teams.
Becky also works as a contractor with GB Rowing and has worked with the Under 23 squad since 2016, a role which has taken her to the World and European Under 23 Rowing championships as Physiotherapist to the squad.
Back in Cornwall Becky works at the Lander Medical Practice in the Truro Health Park where she treats a variety of conditions and patients.
Previously Becky has worked at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in her early career as well as the Cornish Pirates RFC and as a Games Maker volunteer at the London 2012 Olympics in Weymouth
