Regular readers of the Financial Times will have seen Truro School mentioned in the national publication this week.
The feature article, titled ‘The Tides that Bind’, focused on why Cornwall is gaining appeal for those looking to relocate, emphasising the importance of successful infrastructure, from fast transport links and superfast broadband to outstanding education.
The item was written by India Ross, a former pupil of the school who progressed into journalism. As part of her research India talked with Headmaster Andrew Gordon-Brown about the importance of education in Cornwall, examining the latest trends and how Truro School operates within the wider community. Mr Gordon-Brown identified the importance of growing digital industries in Cornwall, allowing parents to work anywhere in the world without being tied to London or other big cities.
