Truro Prep School v Fulham Prep

Saturday 10 of March saw not only Truro Prep School’s Open Day take place, but also the annual fixture with Fulham Prep.

Playing against a well-organised and experienced team, Truro Prep produced some strong tackling and creative attacks. The Truro Prep side have had limited opportunity for practice lately, due to the poor weather conditions and they seemed a little rusty in the opening exchanges. Some slick handling and abrasive attacking from Fulham Prep saw them produce a number of tries in the opening stages of the game. Truro soon came into their own, with a combination of strong running and impressive offloads, they had soon scored three tries of their own. Fulham did however prove too strong for Truro by the final whistle and they finished as winners by nine tries to five, securing the Truro-Fulham Cup for this year. Thank you to all parents and supporters for the fabulous support from the side-lines, showing great sportsmanship and celebrating good play from both teams.
