Truro Prep School celebrates a Cornish Christmas

The pupils of Truro Prep School have once again added some Cornish magic to Christmas this week.

In preparation for the concert, the sports hall had been adorned with an elaborate array of Cornish inspired Christmas decorations including the traditional words ‘Nadelik Lowen’.

With 2017 marking the centenary of the birth of Cornish poet, Charles Causley, there were a number of his poems recited throughout the concert. The children also treated their families and friends to a selection of performances, including a song presented in sign language.

It was an extremely enjoyable and unique evening that embraced the school’s Cornish heritage and celebrated the pupils individual talents.
