On Friday 15 November, 73 pupils from Years 5 and 6 joined young people from all around the UK for a performance on the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show.
The performance of Sing, written by Gary Barlow and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, was broadcast live on BBC 1 from the Maritime Museum in Falmouth. The song was originally written to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Truro Prep Headmaster, Matthew Lovett, said: “I couldn’t be more proud. With Pudsey’s visit on Tuesday and then our pupils performing on television for such an important cause – it was a great day for the school and for children around the UK. Well done everyone.”
You can watch the performance now on the BBC Children in Need website.
