Trennick – ultimate off-road quad biking

As another busy week came to an end, it was time for the rugby boys in the house to don their black ties and dinner jackets and head off to the Penventon Hotel in Redruth for the Annual Rugby Dinner. Just reward for the hours of commitment on the pitch and in training. Trennick House was not without recognition on the night. I am proud of all the boys who have represented Truro School and congratulations to Boj – 2nd XV Most Improved Player, and Liam – 2nd XV Player of the Year and 1st XV most improved player.

Saturday was a relaxing day, which saw some improvement in the weather. The school was a hive of activity for the entrance exams. In the evening, the boys socialised with the rest of the community and enjoyed pizzas in the common room, even after Cath’s Smokey Mountain chicken for tea!

The Sunday lie in is always appreciated by the boys, as is the casual start to the day with a hearty brunch. The boys were keen to brave the inclement weather and headed to the ATV centre in Blackwater for some ultimate off-road quad biking. I am certain that the rain and mud combination was the main attraction, and they were not disappointed.  You can view a gallery of images from the afternoon here.

Back to the house for a clean-up and to refuel. Sunday evening was spent preparing for the week ahead, using the library, and getting an early night.
