Trennick – Former Pupil’s Sports Weekend and Camel Trail

After a busy week settling in, we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend. The weather forecast was not so optimistic but we went ahead and booked the bikes for the Camel Trail ride from Wadebridge to Padstow on Sunday. Saturday also exceeded our expectations for the weather and many of the house enjoyed watching the close fought Former Pupil’s Sports weekend fixtures in netball, hockey and rugby. In the evening many of the boys enjoyed pizzas and a DVD in the common room.

After brunch on Sunday, we headed to the Camel Trail as planned and were surprised with the warm temperatures. The 5 mile cycle to Padstow was rewarded with ice-creams and the beautiful surroundings of one of Cornwall’s most famous locations. Sunday evening was a chance to recuperate and make sure everything was ready for the week ahead and the opportunity to study in the library.
