Hockey Match Report- Saturday 8th October

U14 Girls vs Newquay Hockey Club

The game started with great pace and at a high intensity. Both teams came out strong and powerful and were not going to give up without a fight. After the game started to settle, Truro started linking the passes well with each other, the passes were firm and accurate which made it easier for the players receiving the ball. The formation worked well with the whole team both defending and attacking as a unit, holding their positions and roles in the team well. Truro had a number of shots, hitting the post, cross bar, Newquay’s keeper made some fantastic saves, the building of the goals was coming and in time they would find the net. When the first goal came, many followed, the hard work and extreme effort of the girls kept going and there fitness definitely came out on top. The girls battled and fought to the end 110%, it was a great game of hockey to watch and the intensity of the game made Truro step their level up which paid off for them.

Great Performance girls!

Score: 6-0 Truro
