There have been many small improvements made to Trennick over the last ten days – thanks for these must go to the House Council which met for the first time this year.
Ollie, Justas, Mars, Callum, Toony, Laurenz, David, Cam and Sammy came up with many sensible suggestions and it has been a pleasure helping them put their ideas into practice. Ollie and Justas suggested a rota for the use of the laundry room which has been a great success. Sammy and Cam asked for more Nintendo wii and playstation games which have been ordered. David asked for Sunday activities to include bubble football and quadbiking – these have been put into the schedule for weekends after half-term.
The boys made their Housemaster very proud on Saturday morning – many positive reports came back from parents visiting the Open Morning who received first-class tours from the boys. One family were especially impressed with Tima who gave them a tour of the whole school with full descriptions of school life even though he was new this year. It was a pleasure buying the boys a cinema ticket to thank them for their hard work – many of them went in Truro on Saturday afternoon to watch the new Venom film.
The sun shone on Sunday afternoon so we wheeled out the house BBQ and table tennis table. The boys all enjoyed each other’s company in the quad in the sun and BBQ hot dogs disappeared quickly!
