Senior Boys’ Boarding Blog: 17 June 2019

It has been a very quiet week in Trennick due to exams week.

The 4th Year and Lower Sixth Form boys have been studying hard for their internal end of year exams, and the 5th Year and Upper Sixth Form boys have been studying hard too, but for their external GCSE and A-level exams.

We still managed to play a good game of golf on Saturday afternoon at the stunning Holywell Bay golf course. This is a well-known beach for fans of the TV drama series Poldark. Theon was the winner with a score of 45 on the back nine holes, but special mention must go to Bosco who scored a hole in one!

Cam spent the weekend finishing his Duke of Edinburgh Award Assessed Expedition, Next week promises to be a busy week for Cam in the School Play – Ernie’s Incredible Illusinations. The boys are looking forward to watching him on Wednesday evening.

Also next week is the Rainbow Run at Newquay. The event will see the boarders run, jog or cartwheel 5km around the old airfield at RAF St Mawgan whilst being pelted with powder paint. This is an event we have supported on a number of occasions in the past and one that is thoroughly enjoyed by all. If you would like to sponsor the boarders, please follow this link the link to their Just Giving Fundraising page.
