It was great to welcome the Trennick boys back to the house for the start of the second half of term. They all returned from the two-week holiday refreshed and full of energy. As always, it has been a busy week both inside and outside the classroom. Ethan and Tristan went on the Psychology trip and had a great time visiting Warwick University. Their visit included a tour of the sleep lab and a go on the new driving simulator which they both enjoyed enormously.
On Friday was the very moving whole school Remembrance Service where the former students of the school who died in the services of their country were honoured.
Saturday was another great day on the sports pitches – Callum, Fahed, Alfie, Ethan, Dom, Justas and Oliver all played for the school in the fixtures against Exeter School. Despite the blustery conditions all performed well and it was great to see Dom play for the 2nd XV having recently taken up the sport.
During the early part of Saturday evening some of the boys went into Truro to enjoy a meal at ‘The Italian’ to celebrate Duncan’s birthday. Cyrus, Chris, Marko, Duncan, Tristan, Kobe, Majed, Tony and Bosco returned to the house reporting that they all enjoyed a fine meal.
On Sunday was the annual trip to a nearby paintballing park. This activity is always popular and the boys enjoyed not only shooting each other but also the senior girls from Malvern who came with us!
