On Friday, the children at Truro Prep School were treated to a very special visit – from Nadelik and Lowen, two of Father Christmas’ reindeer.
The pupils couldn’t believe it as they each got a chance to pet the reindeer and presented the Reindeer Keepers from Feadon Farm with a card to say thank you.
The names of the tame reindeer, who are half-brothers, translate into the Cornish words for Merry Christmas and the children certainly got into Christmas spirit singing Jingle Bells and Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer.
At the same time, Year 6 were helping the Early Years make wishes in the Outdoor Classroom. They mixed honeycomb, glitter, cinnamon spice, a glow stick, a scroll of a Christmas song and a bell and shook it all together to make a Christmas wish. The Outdoor Classroom was then visited by Father Christmas himself!
