Last week Reception children had an unforgettable experience at Feadon Farm Wildlife Centre.
We had such a busy fun packed day full of learning guided by Gary a passionate and enthusiastic wildlife and conservation expert.
The children enjoyed a walk through some woodland where they spotted Badger sets and Tawny owl nests. Gary explained how food chains work and the importance of protecting our environment.
The children also had the opportunity to watch falconry birds in action, fly owls, stroke friendly foxes, meet the reindeers and get acquainted with snakes, frogs and mice, not to forget feeding the hungry goats and chickens.
What a special and memorable day for the children to learn all about the natural world.
