It is incredible to think that we have completed the first two weeks of term already; the Prep School has been a hive of activity from the very first day with children involved in a whole array of activities and learning. It has been great to watch the children using our new set of bicycles and further develop their riding skills; I can hear shrieks of joy from my office as they ride around the grounds.
I would like to thank the FTS for their kind donation of the bicycles and also thank those who came to school on Thursday evening this week to meet their new class representatives and get to know more about the school. Thank you, class representatives; your support and time is very much appreciated.
In our assemblies and in PSHE over the past two weeks, the children have been thinking and talking about how they like to be treated and how they don’t like to be treated. We are in the process of drawing up some agreements that all of us in the Prep School will try and follow as to how we should treat others and how we can expect to be treated. I will share some of the children’s ideas in the coming weeks; they certainly make for some interesting reading!
Please note that there has been a change to our calendar. Our Christmas concert will now take place on Tuesday 13th December, rather than on Thursday 15th December. Please do put this new date into your diaries.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend and hope that you have the opportunity to renew and refresh for the challenges of the new week to come.
