Poltisco – Pizza Making and Drama Visit

Party on at the Disco!

Friday was a relaxed evening, the girls were all pretty sleepy after the school week. Emma went out to the school’s junior disco and she assures me she threw some shapes on the dance floor to the latest hits.

Fashion Show Preparation

Saturday morning allowed the girls some free time to watch films, listen to music and go in to town. Emma and Maren are looking forward to their part in the upcoming school’s fashion show and want to find some new shoes to suit. They went in to town on Saturday morning to see if there was anything they could find.

Hall for Cornwall Visit

On Saturday afternoon the Poltisco and Malvern girls went to the Royal Hall for Cornwall to watch the Arcadia production. The production is set in a stately home in 19th Century rural Derbyshire, where secret desires and professional rivalries take hold of the residents of Sidley Park. Thomasina, a talented pupil, makes a startling discovery well ahead of her time, whilst in the present day academics Hannah and Bernard attempt to piece together the fragments of truth that tell her story. The girls all really enjoyed the whole experience.

Homemade Pizzas!

On Saturday evening we didn’t go to supper as normal. Instead all the Poltisco girls create their own hand crafted pizzas. Miss Hargreaves had ventured out to buy all the ingredients from chicken and bacon to mushrooms and various cheeses. It was quite a feast.

Boarding on Sunday

Sunday has been relaxed and calm, the girls have been able to catch up on prep, try on their clothes for the fashion show and watch a few movies on the TV. All set for the second to last week of school – where has the time gone!
