I can scarcely believe that this is the penultimate weekend of the term. Next weekend we are spending a day with Elemental on the beach on Saturday followed by the Rainbow run on Sunday; look out for Mrs Mulready’s final blog of the year!
This weekend was slightly different, Mrs Mulready and I had swapped as I was on a course in London on Friday. The usual EAL session with Mrs de Gruchy took place followed by the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre.
Saturday was a chilling day and plenty of table tennis action took place in the nice sunny weather. Saturday night was a return to normality with copious amounts of pizza devoured!
Sunday was the usual stupendous brunch followed by some kayaking with Mr Warrens Paddle and Sail out of Percuil. The paddle down to St Mawes was lovely, aided by the great weather. The houses along the river were fabulous.
Once we had dragged the kayaks up onto the beach it was the traditional ice creams and the photo on the steps at St Mawes.
The paddle back was lovely as we were with the incoming tide.
Sunday evening was the usual preparation for the week ahead… and what a week! Sports Day on Tuesday and the Boarders Charity Concert on Thursday. We are well represented in the concert which promises to be fabulous.
