The girls were feeling nervous on the arrival at The Maynards. However, after a good warm up the squad were far more positive. From the first whistle the U12’s were in control, making space in attack and driving onto the ball, finishing with a goal. The defence made interceptions and safely worked the ball up the court. It was a good squad effort.
U13 v The Maynard School, Exeter – won 43-6
An outstanding performance by the U13s; it was most pleasing to see everything we have been working on in training coming together. Every single player was very committed in their play and determined to come away with a convincing win.
U15 v The Maynard School, Exeter – lost 13-25
The U15s produced a sterling performance against a strong Maynard side and the score does not reflect their determination and attitude on court. The team’s defending was excellent, winning lots of turnovers, but we made too many passing errors to consolidate the score. However, a very pleasing performance.
