Netball Summary – Week Beginning Monday 25 November

U18 B vs Penwith College – Won 24-9.
After a tough opening quarter which saw the teams trading goals, Truro took control defensively and restricted Penwith to just six goals in the last three quarters, thanks to some dominant defence from Hayley Hardstaff. Millie Burdell, in particular, was in fine shooting form.

PSP vs Camborne A

U12B Won 6-0. Another great result for the B team, improving throughout the game. C. Hatcher was particularly impressive.

U13B Lost 3-11. The B team struggled with the height of the two Camborne shooters. Little could be done to stop their dominance. Nevertheless the girls never gave up and played well, particularly in the second half.

U14 Won 23-1. A very comfortable win. The girls were focussed and once more defending superbly.

U15 Won 21-10. A. Maskell lead the team well in a comfortable win.

U16 Won 21-10. The opening quarter was tightly contested. It ended level but Truro imposed themselves in the second quarter and dictated the pace of the game effectively to restrict Camborne to two scoreless quarters and run out comfortable winners. E. Sawyer was extremely effective at WD and WA throughout.
