The whole squad played well and deserved their 3rd placing, Mrs Willey was so proud of them!

Windy but dry conditions met the Under 16s at Newquay Tretherras for the Under 16s C.T. The squad were in a determined and positive mood and secured four straight wins, one being against local rivals Truro High School. This was a fantastic performance by everyone, with super feeding of the circle by Amy and Tegan, accurate shooting in tricky conditions by Sophia and Amy, winning 14:4.

Next, last years winners, Penryn. We managed to contain them in the first half but let them dominate us in the second losing out 4:14. A final win against Newquay Tretherras saw us up against Penair in the semi final; a must win game to secure a place at the Regional Tournament. Strong defending by Alex and Kitty in the circle held Penair up in the first half but Penair dug deep to come away with the win.

Determined to finish on a high the team produced some calm and steady play to beat Roseland 12:9 and finish a respectable 3rd position. Well done to all of the players.
