Truro had the majority of the possession of the ball throughout the game, a number of shoots were taken, but none that found the back of the net. Penrice had a couple of quick breaks when Truro were caught on the back foot but failed to make them count. Truro played lots of individual hockey in the first half, each player tried to do too much, they were determined to take the whole team on and get a goal but that didn’t work either. At half time a reshuffle of positioning and introducing 3 touch made the girls think about the ball they were going to deliver, also the movement of the ball was key. The team started moving the ball and the passing game came back into play, with only a few minutes into the second half the goals started to come, one after the other. We got 4 goals in the second half in 15 minutes which was outstanding.
