Well, the sun almost kept shining in Truro this weekend as the gates opened to what seemed like hundreds of prospective parents looking around the school. The girls, as always, were fantastic – they manned the French café, the Biology department and the Economics stand to name just a few. The boarding stand was also beautifully looked after by some of our Upper Sixth girls. Thank you in particular to Leanne, who spent the whole morning hosting and leading tours for parents.
Sunday was back to our normal action packed routine, as 20 of us took to the moors on horses. The rain finally stopped as we mounted and the sun almost shined. We were split up into three groups – beginners, intermediates and advanced. All the girls did brilliantly and loved the activity, but Benny deserves the biggest congratulations. Having never ridden before she was fantastic and earned herself a house commendation for bravery.
What a lovely weekend with a fabulous group of young ladies.
