Year 6 Humanities Workshop

Year 6 workshop with the Cornwall Records Office

Identifying the correct design of Truro Cathedral from the original shortlisted designs, comparing photographs of Truro past and present to work out what has changed (or not), studying census documents and identifying places in Truro on a map from 1842… all part of today’s Year 6 workshop with the Cornwall Records Office.

Part of the preparation for their Truro Prep Diploma humanities work on Truro past and present, the children were fascinated by the documents and enthused for their upcoming project.

Thank you to Chloe for running the workshop and inspiring the children!
