Last Friday there was great excitement in Year 2. All the children arrived at school with suitcases, holdalls, bags and bedding, enough to fill the largest removal lorry! Teddy bears, duvets, pillows, onesies and slippers, ready to snuggle down in the Pre- Prep Hall with special friends to watch Disney’s ‘The Lion King’.
This was a great celebration, and a fitting culmination to our Africa project. Everyone was impeccably behaved, and following some cereal and hot chocolate, warm, happy and sleepy children were definitely tired and ready to go home to bed.
