Year 1 had an amazing day at Feadon Farm, making lots of new animal friends.
The children became fully fledged nature detectives, investigating flora and fauna. They also had the exciting opportunity to hold a barn owl, feed a reindeer and goats, and were even introduced to a fox cub called Mavis. Rodney the Rook made an appearance, as did Alice the ferret with her delightful eau de parfum.
Some of the pupils were lucky enough to be kissed by a fox and although they did attempt to kiss the toad, no prince appeared.
A marvellous day was had by all, children and teachers alike.
