Year 1 and 2 Celebrate World Religion Day

Our Sixth Form Religious Studies students joined our Year 1 and 2 pupils to promote inter-faith understanding and harmony for World Religion Day.

The pupils had a wonderful time learning from each other about Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Judaism.

With the help of our Sixth Form students, the pupils celebrated the similarities that different faiths have and made beautiful stained glass windows, clay Buddhas, Star of David decorations and Kara bracelets, and decorated colourful Rangoli patterns (indoors and outdoors), Mehndi designs and exquisite temples and mosques.

Thank you to Mrs Millne for organising and for Mrs Mitchell and the Sixth Form students for helping us.
