A small selection of students recently had the chance to speak to royalty at a Restorative Justice event.
Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, who is patron of the Restorative Justice Council, visited Truro Cathedral to endorse the work of schools who support the use of restorative justice. Truro School currently uses elements of restorative justice when the school feels that it is necessary or appropriate.
A group of 3rd Year students, along with one 5th Year and the Head Boy and Head Girl, were introduced to the Princess Royal and spoke to her about their experiences of work surrounding restorative justice.
Glynn Hooper, Truro School’s Senior Pastoral Leader, commented on how
“Her Royal Highness was delighted that Truro School has shown the initiative to be one of the small groups of schools to already be working in this area.”
