Red Nose Day celebrations

Comic Relief is one of the biggest charity events of the year. Founded in 1985, Comic Relief has grown to be an event across the country that greatly emphasises the importance of fundraising for charitable causes.

Red Nose Day is a light-hearted and fun-filled day that gives pupils the opportunity to make their contribution to such a good cause.

The pupils from the prep school were given the chance to wear their home clothes for a small donation of one pound each, and throughout the day took part in activities, which ran during lunchtime. The day is also an opportunity for students to have fun for the sake of a good cause. By selling novelty jester glasses and the iconic red noses, alongside sponge throwing, a lucky dip, and pin the red nose on the wall, Truro School Prep was able to do their part in raising funds for comic relief.

“It is a great experience for pupils to do their part for comic relief.”
