Great success at this event. Everyone that fought won medals.
Ivan (6AG) won silver in his group coming up against a tough opponent from Drake Judo Club in Plymouth, but won all his other fights with ease.
Harriet (5JE) also gained silver, beating everyone except the Western Area Schools champion (Harriet is West of England Schools number 2).
Beth (5JE) won gold with a lovely throw against an opponent she has never beaten before in competition and was in determined mood having cruised through her other fights.
Toby (4TT) was ill on the day unfortunately and could not fight.
Congratulations to everyone. Keep training and working hard and you will be successful.
