Jack becomes a ‘Top Banana’

Bananagrams is a knockout competition for pupils in Years 3 to 6.  Fourteen pupils competed in over 30 knockout and friendly games during lunchtimes, where they had the challenge of creating as many interlinking words as possible. The competition acts as a fun way of promoting spelling, vocabulary, word building, prefixes, suffixes and mental agility.

Jack and William played the final with Jack emerging as the winner in what proved to be a tightly fought match.

Miss Patterson presented the Top Banana trophy and medal to Jack in a celebration assembly.
