Duffy’s Lucky Escape

Our Year 2 pupils have been reading Duffy’s Lucky Escape: an engaging story about a sea turtle’s encounter with plastics in the sea after a storm. The children have been really inspired by the story and the importance of looking after their environment in a fun and friendly way.

The children then wrote beautifully illustrated stories about plastics in the ocean and even created their own Recycling Robot to help them to remember to ‘Refuse, Refill, Reuse and Recycle’.
