Level 2 Gardener Apprentice
(Full-time, all year round)
37.5 hours per week
Mon-Fri: 0800-1600 (with a half an hour’s unpaid lunch each day)
Salary: £5.00 per hour
Start Date: September 2019
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Grounds team at Truro School Prep as a Gardener apprentice. On a day to day basis you will be tasked to undertake a range of grounds maintenance duties to support the Groundsman and assist in the upkeep of our grassed and planted areas of the School. You will also be involved in the conservation of our Forest School area.
Training, supervision and guidance will be provided. You will be required to attend Cornwall College one day a week as part of your formal apprenticeship programme.
In addition to our competitive rate of pay, other benefits include lunch and membership of the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre.

Teaching Assistant – Prep
Term Time Only, Permanent
14 hours per week (Monday & Tuesday)
£4,661 pa (0.27fte)

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic Prep team. Our successful candidate must have an excellent track record of working with young children, motivating and encouraging them through stimulating and exciting activities.
There are also opportunities to assist with the supervision of our after school Tea Club.
