Cookery School – Technicians
Two part-time, permanent roles available
£17,800 – £19,400 pa pro rata (approx. 25 hours per week each)
September 2018 will see the opening of the brand new, purpose-built Cookery School offering state-of-the art workstations and equipment, a large demonstration area with overhead camera and a brand new Café.
We are seeking to appoint two new part-time technicians to join our new Cookery School and Café. Reporting to our new Head of Cookery School, the successful candidates will be flexible, well-organised individuals with hands on experience of cooking and an ability to communicate well with children, young people and adults.
The technicians will prepare the Cookery School for lessons, practical activities and demonstrations; order, receive and manage ingredients and resources; provide technical advice and support in the classroom, and contribute to the development of the Cookery School.
A flexible approach to working hours is required, with each role working approximately 25 hours per week, and may include a Saturday. Additional hours may be required to support events and courses taking place in the Cookery School, either at weekends or during the holidays.
Start date: mid. August 2018
These roles are all year round, not term-time only.
