On Friday night, students from all years gathered in the Burrell Theatre to make the annual Jazz Concert a huge success.
The concert acts as a way of showcasing the school’s talented jazz musicians and this year was certainly no different with a large variety of groups and soloists performing on the night.
Speaking about the night Francis Shepherd, Truro School’s Music Coordinator, said,
“The school’s annual jazz concert is a great opportunity to put our talented jazz musicians front and centre, and give them the chance to let their hair down and play their socks off in our brilliant Burrell Theatre, the ideal venue for performing this style of music.”
This year the concert raised £153.07 for the youth mental health charity YoungMinds.
