Jack Mahon and Louis Murray have both been selected to be part of the England Squash ‘Aspire Programme’. The Aspire programme is focused on enhancing players with potential above county level to create a sustainable succession of players to be in contention to represent England junior squads at European and World events. Jack and Louis will be part of the South West Aspire Programme, one of the eight Aspire Regional Programmes across England.
Tim Smith (Head of Squash) congratulated the boys, saying:
“This is clearly a marvellous achievement and massive step forward for both Truro School boys. They have worked incredibly hard to get to the level required and show enormous talent and huge potential pushing forward towards the full England set-up. Their Squash futures look exceptionally bright indeed!”
