Head’s Blog – 29 September 2016

As September draws to a close and the leaves start to fall, it signals that time of year when we celebrate the harvest and give thanks for all that we have. I would like to invite every member of the Truro Prep School community to our Harvest Festival service that will take place next Sunday 9th October in the Truro School Chapel. Our service will start at 10 30 and should finish about 11 15 and we hope to see as many of you there as possible. We would like to see the children looking smart in their school uniforms and they will be sitting together with their families as we celebrate together. Our Chaplain, Rev. Aubin de Gruchy will be taking the service and there will be a retiring collection for our ‘All We Can’ charity. All food items, that can be put in the baskets at the Prep School or taken to the service on Sunday, will be donated to the Truro Foodbank.

We also hope to see parents at our first parents’ meetings that will start on Monday 10th October after school. Details of the meetings are in the school calendar but we will also be in touch very soon with times and more specific arrangements. I look forward to welcoming you to those meetings in due course.
