Headmaster’s Blog – 7 May – Enjoying the Outdoors

Last week I went to Beam House in Devon on the Year 5 PGL camp. The children get so much out of these trips and I wanted to share with you some of their great comments and a few photographs!

Here is what the students thought:

The best part was the zip-wire and the air rifle shooting because the zip-wire was massive! – Sam

I loved the breakfast. I had 3 yoghurts, 2 toast, 2 sausages, a hash brown, scrambled egg, beans and a bowl of cereal! – Joe

My favourite thing about PGL was the zip-wire because it felt like you were flying. – Alex

I love the mud! – Hayden

When I was first on the slanted bit of abseiling I was nervous. I spent the rest of the way down bouncing for joy and to see how high I could go. – Adeline
