Girl Choristers perform at St. Paul’s Cathedral

We are extremely proud of our girl choristers who have had an amazing weekend performing in London and Cambridge.

The choir sang beautifully throughout the tour, with performances including: Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral, with the St Paul’s Cathedral back row, Evensong at Pembroke College Cambridge with the newly-formed Pembroke College Girls’ Choir, Eucharist at Ely Cathedral with the Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir and their back row and Evensong at Jesus College, Cambridge, with The Choir of Jesus College, Cambridge. Thank you to everyone involved in the organisation of a busy but hugely inspiring schedule.

Our annual ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’ event takes place on Tuesday, 13 November and is the perfect opportunity for girls to experience life as a chorister, from morning rehearsal through to school lessons, and finally a short service of Evensong when they will have the chance to sing with the Cathedral Choir. The Cathedral’s Director of Music is happy to meet and pre-audition any interested students to give feedback. Please contact Christopher Gray on 01872 245004 or christophergray@trurocathedral.org.uk. For information about Truro School, including fees, scholarships and means-tested bursaries, registration and chorister application forms, contact Jayne Grigg, Director of Admissions on 01872 246062 or jeg@truroschool.com.
