The Under 16s produced an outstanding performance to beat Oasis Academy (Bristol) in the last 32 of the English Schools Cup. In a frantic opening 20 minutes both sides fought for every ball.
It was Oasis who opened the scoring with a well taken goal after 25 minutes. However, Truro came straight back with Henry breaking the play up, Danny helping the ball on for Mike to calmly score. Truro pushed forward and some good play from Park caused confusion in the Oasis penalty area with it resulting in an own goal.
The 2nd half saw Truro dominate play. Will Trew was brought down for a penalty but unfortunately it was missed. The final 20 minutes saw Truro manage the game superbly and book their place in the last 16 nationally.
