The final game of the season saw the U13s play in the County Cup final against Callington. A bright opening from Truro resulted in a corner which after the initial clearance saw Aiden shot from the edge of the penalty area into the top corner. The rest of the first half was a very even affair with both teams having chances.
The second half had Callington playing with the wind. Some resolute defending and a bit of luck for Truro had them hanging on to their 1–0 lead with minutes to play. A tremendous shot from a Callington player finally saw them score and extra-time looking a certainty. However, there was a twist. Truro broke and gained a corner. Charlie floated a delightful ball into the box, which saw the Callington keeper misjudge the ball and after a deflection the ball ended up in the net. There was hardly time for the ref to restart the game before the final whistle and celebrations from the Truro squad. Final score 2–1.
