County Cup Fixture

Truro School Under 12’s: L 6.1
The Under 12’s played Richard Lander in the County Cup and found themselves up against a very good side. Whilst there was much effort for the Truro players Richard Lander showed some real quality. Truro got to half-time and were losing 5.0. Nevertheless, a spirited second half saw Truro compete much better. A fantastic goal from Ben pulled the deficient back. A late goal from Richard Lander saw the result finish 6.1.

Truro School vs Redruth

Under 12’s A: W 3.1


Under 12’s B: W 5.0


Under 13’s: L 3.0
The Under 13’s were unlucky to lose this game. In the first half Truro were unlucky not to score on many occasions. Redruth, however, took advantage of the chances they had to record a good win.


Under 14’s: W 3.0
The Under 14’s avenged their County Cup loss to Redruth earlier in the term. A good team performance saw them comprehensively win.


Under 15’s: W 3.1
Whilst the Under 15’s didn’t play at their best they were still too good for Redruth on the day. The result meant they have still only lost one game all season.


1st XI: W 1.0
In an extremely physical and competitive game Truro struggled in the first 15 minutes to come to terms with the pace of the game. Truro created the better chances but failed to capitalise. The second half saw Truro dominate possession. Further chances were missed which included a penalty. A further penalty was awarded to Truro and this time Toby Robinson made no mistake in placing the ball into the top corner. Chris Linn had an excellent game in goal.
