Football Summary – Week Beginning 10 March 2014


It has been a busy week for our football teams. On Monday we had a block fixture against Penrice Academy. The U12 ‘A’ and ‘B’ team both lost, but played very well. The U16s had a very competitive game which ended up as a 3:3 draw. There was wins for the U13, 14 and 15 teams. The 13s won 4:0, the U14s 3:1 and the U15s 2:1.



On Wednesday we played seven games in total. The 2nd XI played Helston 1st XI and played exceptionally well despite losing 2:0. Our 3rd XI played Penryn 1st XI and lost 4:1.


We also had a block fixture against Penair School. The U12s produced the result of the day by winning 5:2. The goals were scored by, Elliot (2), Barnaby, Harley and an Own Goal. The U16s lost 3:1 and the U14s lost their unbeaten record by losing 2:1. The U15s produced an excellent result in winning 5:0. The score of the day has to go to the U13s. After drawing last year 1:1 with Penair, no one saw this score-line coming. Truro School 10 (TEN) Penair 5 (FIVE)!



On Friday the U15s travelled to Mounts Bay for their Quarter Final of the County Cup. In a close fought game Truro lost 1:0. Josh and James at Centre Half played particularly well.
