This year we are selling tickets for the RFU Grand Draw in order to raise funds for the Max Levene Trust. It is the second time we have sold tickets for this worthy cause, which is close to our hearts.
Max was a boarder in Trennick House when he suffered a serious accident playing rugby for the school in October 2009. The school set up the trust with the slogan; ‘Remember the boy, support the man’.
As Max showed incredible strength and determination to return to school – and later gained a place at the University of East Anglia to study Business Economics – we pledged to continue to support one of our own. Now, as Max looks to move out of education and on the next stage of his journey, we are looking to continue our promise of support by raising funds for equipment and experiences that will improve his opportunities to access a full and enriched future.
We are asking for each rugby player in the 1st – 4th year to sell an allocation of £10 worth of tickets and return any monies and ticket stubs to Mr Austin by the end of February, in time for the draw in March. It is a national draw run by the RFU from which we are fortunate to receive a very generous 90% of the ticket sales.
If you would like any further information, you can contact James Austin, Head of Senior Boys’ Boarding, by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: 01872 246033.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
