Senior Boys Boarders' Blog

The new boarders had a very enjoyable and successful induction weekend. Obum, a Boarding Prefect and School Senior Prefect, was instrumental in helping the boys settle into Trennick – he has already started promoting Thursday evening football! Simon and Felix were also a great help in guiding the new boarders to the various activities. Paddle-boarding at the beach on Satruday was great fun – William enjoyed the different experience to his normal dinghy sailing. The boys enjoyed making pizzas in the cookery school, especially Lorenzo who is from Milan! Ondrej was the star baker having worked up an appetite from Saturday’s swim in the sea. Basketball in the sports hall on Monday evening was one of the highlights. We hope that keen players such as Matija make the school team and play for Truro Basketball Club who train and play in the school sports hall.

Over the next few weeks we will work closely with the boys to ensure that they settle fully into boarding life. There will be a focus on academic efforts, self-organisation and taking advantage of the many clubs and activities on offer.
