Junior Boys' Boarding Update – 14 November

The boys had a great first weekend in Poltisco after the half term break.

It started on Friday evening with the junior school disco. Cam met some friends and had a great time throwing some shapes on the dance floor.

After brunch on Saturday morning it was very pleasing to see Alex, Nick and Toony playing rugby against Exeter School. Especially after Alex and Nick played very well in the rugby house matches and were approached to play at the weekend. Well done to all who represented the school.

After the game some of the boys requested to go shopping in town and some had arranged to visit the cinema. Thank you to Alex who spotted the Home Alone DVD box set. The boys settled down during the evening to watch this classic Christmas movie whilst tucking into plenty of pizza! Many thanks go to Roman who saved some for Herman and Stanley who are my two Dachshunds.
The boys had a lovely lie in on Sunday morning before getting ready for brunch and the Sunday outing. We joined forces with Trennick house and went Karting at ‘Coast to Coast’ in Hayle. The boys enjoyed two full track sessions on a glorious Cornish sunny afternoon. Pole position and the top driver award goes to ‘speed king’ Trevor. Well done!

The main Sunday evening meal was traditional roast lamb with all the trimmings. After this we returned to the house for the last prep session of the week, before getting organised for the week ahead.
