2019 Alumni Dinner and Sports Fixtures

On Saturday 7 September the Annual Alumni Dinner and Sports Fixtures took place at Truro School.

The day began with Netball and Rugby fixtures in the SBA and on the sports fields. All teams played well with the alumni teams victorious in both matches.

In the evening, alumni, former staff, current staff and guests gathered in the Dining Hall for pre-dinner drinks followed by a 3-course dinner prepared by Chef Manager, Andy Burt and his team. The evening specifically honoured the decennial anniversaries for classes of 59, 69, 79, 89, 99, 09 as well as some of the earliest female alumni. Rachel Vaughan, Chair of TSA was delighted to welcome over 100 alumni, with their partners, from across the decades. The attendees had travelled from across the globe, including France, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong and from all over the UK and were joined by Truro School’s headmaster, Andrew Gordon-Brown, Director of Admissions, Jayne Grigg and Reverend Aubin De Gruchy.

Thank you to everyone who attended the evening and we look forward to seeing many more familiar faces at the upcoming Truro School Connected events in London and Bristol, more details below.
