Year 4 Roseland Walk

On Wednesday 28th September, Year 4 took part in their year group walk from Porth Farm to St Anthony Head. This activity forms part of the Year 4 Diploma, where we look to build an understanding of the importance of the following: communication, compassion, confidence, organisation, problem-solving/initiative and teamwork.

This particular walk also provides great opportunities for direct historical observations and for illustrating the maritime significance of the area, as well as being a physical challenge, owing to the length and undulating nature of the route.

Luckily, the weather held for the day, so the children could enjoy their breaks at Place Manor and Great Molunan Beach, which undoubtedly provided the best memories of the day – ‘food and friendship’ is a formidable combination!
