Students Take to the Catwalk for Uganda Trip

Shortly before Easter the students took to the catwalk as they looked to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Uganda in June.

Truro School teamed up with sustainable clothing brand awear and St Austell based Preloved Boutique at the Bridge.

The night was a resounding success with all students having great fun modelling the upcycled garments.

What is Upcycling?

Upcycling is defined by awear as

“the process of adding new qualities to original, often secondhand items; making every item unique to the user”

The event marked an exciting launch night for awear with an opportunity for Preloved Boutique at the Bridge to showcase some of their finest fashion items acquired since being in business at the end of September 2014.
