This weekend we enjoyed a trip to Exeter to visit the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and do some shopping. The museum was very interesting and tells the story of Exeter and Devon from the prehistoric to the present. The RAMM is more than a local museum; it is internationally important, displaying cultural and natural history collections of global exploration and significance throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
Nicolette and Hailey enjoyed looking at the giraffe and elephant. It is a really excellent museum and well worth a visit if you are in Exeter. After lunch at Nando’s we enjoyed some shopping in the city centre as well as listening to a very talented band busking. Just before heading home we enjoyed a slice of cake at Boston Tea Party while Toni and Sasha showed us their purchases.
