Poltisco Boarding – Royal Cornwall Show

A Hard Week of Exams

This week has been exam week at Truro School and all of the girls have worked hard revising and sitting exams. Some of the girls who are only here for the summer term had the luxury of heading out to Low Beach of Thursday afternoon to do paddle boarding and kayaking in the sun. Nicole was the overall winner of the races that were set by the outdoor team while Margot was a close second.

A Visit to Royal Cornwall Show

On Saturday Poltisco and Pentreve went to the Royal Cornwall Show. The Royal Cornwall Show is the county’s biggest event and is full of exhibits and activities, everything from entertainment, shopping to the best in food and farming. It is estimated over 100,000 people attended the show over three days at Wadebridge, not surprising as the weather was glorious with sunshine and warm temperatures.

During the day the RAF Falcons did a parachute display where they parachuted in over the show ground. The girls enjoyed the day in the sunshine and looking at the various stands and animals.

Heads Up! Truro School Boarders Enjoy the RAF Parachute Display.

Boarding on Sunday

On Sunday the girls had free time and enjoyed the weather outside in the garden, sunbathing and going in to town. Some of the girls are pretty tired after a busy week so we will be having an early night tonight!
