A fantastic day was had by pupils, parents and staff at Sports Day 2010. Nearly 500 pupils took part in all the different events and we were blessed with the beautiful sunshine.

Competition between the houses was fierce throughout the day and an incredible six new school records were set: Yvonne Chart (year 2 1500m – 5:19.40), Hayley Hardstaff (year 3 discus – 23.10m), Amelia Grigg (year 3 high jump – 1.48m), Kiani Pay (year4/5 long jump – 4.70m & year 4/5 triple jump – 10.29m) and Claire Tresidder (senior girls shot putt – 9.00m).
